Funded account rule

This article explains all the rules that apply once you pass the Challenge and move to a Funded account.

Updated this week

Applies to all Funded account sizes: 50K, 100K, 150K

A Funded account at Sirok Futures follows the same technical environment as the Challenge, but introduces new rules related to risk, scaling, payouts, and account integrity.
This article summarizes everything that stays the same and everything that changes once you reach the Funded stage.

1. Rules That Remain the Same as in the Challenge

1.1 Trading Environment & Commissions

Your Funded account operates in the same ecosystem as your Challenge:

  • Same data feed (Rithmic / R|Trader)

  • Same compatible platforms (NinjaTrader, ATAS, Sierra Chart, Quantower, Bookmap, etc.)

  • Same authorized futures instruments

  • Same commissions automatically deducted on every entry and exit (per CME/NYMEX/CBOT/COMEX product class)

Nothing changes in terms of execution or simulation environment.
If you understand how your Challenge trades, your Funded account behaves identically.

1.2 Trailing Drawdown (EOD Logic)

Funded accounts use the same End-of-Day trailing drawdown system as Challenges:

  • Updated once per day, only based on your end-of-day balance

  • Intraday unrealized P&L does not move the drawdown

  • The drawdown increases only when your EOD balance makes a new high

  • Once it reaches Starting Balance + $100, it locks permanently

If your equity (balance + open P&L) ever falls below the drawdown level:

  • The Funded account is breached

  • The account is permanently closed (no reset option)

After your first payout, the drawdown becomes permanently fixed at:

Starting Balance + $100

1.3 Economic News Trading

You can trade during the news. Sirok Futures does not require traders to flatten their open trades/orders during the news, but we highly recommend using caution or avoiding trading when a release is coming up that may impact a product you are trading. Economic releases create unique risks in the market. Trades placed during these times will not be reviewed or adjusted, and the results are the trader’s responsibility.

1.4 Overnight Rules

Overnight rules remain unchanged:

You cannot hold positions overnight on a Funded account.

All trades must be closed before the CME Globex daily close:

  • Close: 16:10 ET / 21:10 UTC

  • Reopen: 18:00 ET / 23:00 UTC

Any position left open during the overnight window is a violation and may result in account closure.

Holiday and half-session closures follow the official CME schedule, and you are responsible for managing your positions accordingly.

1.5 Instruments & Maximum Position Size

Same logic as Challenge:

  • You must respect the maximum contract size of your Funded account

  • Some instruments convert micros → minis when calculating total size (e.g., MBT/MET = 1 mini equivalent)

  • Trading an unauthorized product or exceeding max size is a rule breach

Your active product list and size limits can be viewed via:

R|Trader → View Risk Parameters

1.6 Copy Trading Between Your Own Accounts

  • Allowed: Copy trading between your own Sirok accounts under your trader profile

  • Not allowed: Copying trades from/to external accounts, platforms, other traders, or signals

External copy trading is prohibited and can lead to immediate account closure.

2. Rules That Change in the Funded Phase

2.1 No Resets & Hard Breaches

In a Funded account:

  • No reset is available

  • A serious rule violation closes the account permanently

Hard breaches include:

  • Drawdown breach

  • Overnight violation

  • Unauthorized instruments / size breach

  • Fraud, external copy trading, platform abuse, manipulation, latency exploitation, etc.

To get another Funded account, you must pass a new Challenge.

2.2 Scaling Plan (Position Size Increase)

Funded accounts follow a scaling structure:

  • At the start: You may trade half of your full account size

    • Example: 10-mini account → start with 5 minis

  • You unlock full size when your EOD equity reaches:
Starting balance + 50% of the drawdown amount

  • Once full size is unlocked, you keep it permanently
(even if your balance later decreases, as long as you respect all rules)

2.3 Payout Conditions & Limits

Payouts are only available on Funded accounts.

2.3.1 Trading Requirements (Daily Minimums)

You must complete 5 winning days, each with:

  • 50K: at least +150 USD per day

  • 100K: at least +250 USD per day

  • 150K: at least +350 USD per day

Only Net Realized P&L from closed trades counts.

2.3.2 Rule Compliance

During the payout cycle:

  • No drawdown breaches

  • No overnight violations

  • No prohibited trading or conduct

Any violation cancels eligibility and may close the account.

2.3.3 Positive Cycle Rule (+1 USD)

After each payout:

  • A new baseline is set (your balance immediately after payout)

  • To request the next payout, your balance must be at least +$1 above this baseline

If you are below the baseline, you must trade back above it before requesting another payout.

2.3.4 Minimum & Maximum Payout Amounts

  • Minimum request: $250

  • Maximum request: Tier-based, depending on account size and payout number
(Your dashboard automatically enforces the correct limit)

2.3.5 Profit Split

  • First 6 payouts: 80% to the trader

  • Applies per Funded account

  • Subsequent changes (e.g., Live transition) follow official documentation

2.3.6 Effect of Payouts on Your Drawdown

When a payout is processed:

  • Your balance decreases

  • Your risk buffer (balance − loss limit) becomes smaller

After your first payout, the drawdown becomes permanently fixed at:

Starting balance + $100

Withdrawing too much increases the risk of breaching your loss limit.

2.4 Maximum Number of Funded Accounts & Copy Trading

  • You can have up to 3 active Funded accounts

  • If you pass more Challenges, additional Funded accounts are put on hold

  • Internal copy trading allowed only between your own accounts

  • External copying remains prohibited

2.5 Inactivity Rule (30 Days)

A Funded account with no trading activity for 30 consecutive days may be closed for inactivity.

If you plan a long break, contact support in advance.

2.6 No Activation Fee

Transitioning from Challenge → Funded:

  • No activation fee

  • Funded accounts are created automatically once validated

  • Ongoing costs are limited to:

    • Commissions

    • Optional market data (Level 2, etc.)

    • Optional services

3. Additional Notes

  • Funded accounts are simulation-based, but performance determines real payouts and Live-account eligibility

  • Anti-fraud, geographic restrictions, platform abuse rules apply strictly

  • All traders must comply with Terms & Conditions, including:

    • Payout policy

    • Prohibited conduct

    • Country restrictions

4. In Short

A Funded account keeps the same foundation as your Challenge:

  • Same platform, execution, data, instruments

  • Same EOD trailing drawdown

  • Same overnight restrictions

What changes:

  • No resets → any hard breach closes the account

  • Scaling plan → half size at start, full size unlocked with EOD equity progression

  • Payout system → daily minimums (150/250/350), min $250 payout, tiered caps, 80% split, Positive Cycle rule

  • Drawdown becomes fixed at starting balance + $100 after the first payout

  • Maximum of 3 active Funded accounts

  • Inactivity over 30 days may lead to closure
