Follow this guide to set up your connection to Sirok Futures using MotiveWave.
⚠️ Important: Sign your agreements first
Before connecting MotiveWave, you must accept the Rithmic market data agreements. Please refer to our Rithmic Agreement article to complete this step.
If you skip this step, your connection will not work.
1. Create a Workspace
When you launch MotiveWave for the first time, you will be asked to create a workspace.
Workspace Name: Enter Sirok Futures.
Location: You can leave this as "MotiveWave Cloud" or select "Local" depending on your preference.
Click Next.
2. Select Service
You will be asked to choose your data service provider.
Service: Select Rithmic from the dropdown menu.
Click Next (or Finish, depending on the version, but usually you need to enter credentials next).
3. Configure Credentials
A login window will appear. Enter the connection details found on your Sirok Futures Dashboard:
Username: Enter your Sirok Futures username.
Password: Enter your Sirok Futures password.
Gateway: Select Chicago.
System: It is crucial to select Rithmic Paper Trading.
Market Data: Select Non Aggregated.
Once everything is filled in, click Connect.
4. Confirm Connection
MotiveWave will attempt to connect to the server. If the details are correct, you will see a confirmation message: "Connection was successful".
Click OK. You are now connected and ready to start your Evaluation.
